Carol A. Vandersnick

Ms. Vandersnick is currently the Office Manager of Timm & Garfinkel, LLC. Ms. Vandersnick comes to Timm & Garfinkel, LLC with over 15 years working as a paralegal. Prior to joining Timm & Garfinkel, Ms. Vandersnick was a paralegal at Sears, Roebuck & Co., where she focused on marketing and ad review. Prior to working at Sears, Ms. Vandersnick worked at DoALL Company and Vescelus, Powell & Stock. Ms. Vandersnick has experience in Corporate Law, Family Law and Real Estate.

Ms. Vandersnick received her AAS degree of Paralegal Studies from Harper College.

Julia A. Hach

Ms. Hach comes to Timm & Garfinkel with 11 years of experience as a paralegal and 4 years experience managing office and industrial property.

Most recently Ms. Hach spent 4 years as a Senior Paralegal at General Growth Properties. In addition to being a member of a regional legal team responsible for the leasing and legal activities on a geographic portfolio of GGP properties, Ms. Hach was the primary contact for all legal matters on all ATM locations in the GGP portfolio, and was responsible for all leasing matters with national retailer Express throughout the GGP portfolio. Prior to General Growth, Ms. Hach was a leasing and corporate paralegal at the Chicago office of the California based law firm Pircher, Nichols & Meeks. Throughout her 7 year stay at Pircher, Ms. Hach handled leasing matters for national landlords such as Urban Retail Properties, RREEF, and The Mills Corporation, as well as regional and smaller developers. She also routinely assisted on property acquisition and disposition matters for a number of clients. While at Pircher Ms. Hach acted as the Assistant Secretary of a number of Hometown America entities and was responsible for general corporate governance for that company.

Before becoming a paralegal Ms. Hach spent 4 years working on the property management side of the Real Estate business as a commercial property manager responsible for budgeting, leasing, and day-to-day management of office and industrial properties. As an Assistant Manager with Douglas Emmett & Company, Ms. Hach worked on several class A high-rise buildings. As a Manager with Winco Asset Management, Ms. Hach was responsible for a portfolio of industrial and office properties.

Ms. Hach received American Bar Association certificates in Real Estate Law and Corporate Law in 2000. Ms. Hach also has a BFA from Parsons School of Design.

Robin Boisvert

Ms. Boisvert joined Timm & Garfinkel, LLC in 2010 as a Legal Assistant while completing her Certificate of Paralegal Studies. Prior to her work with Timm & Garfinkel, LLC, Ms. Boisvert was employed by School District 96 as a Teacher’s Aide teaching Reading and Math Skills.

Ms. Boisvert has a BA in History and Sociology from Washington University in St. Louis and a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Harper College.

Heidi Jorudd

Ms. Jorudd comes to Timm & Garfinkel with over 10 years experience as a real estate paralegal.

Ms. Jorudd started her career as a real estate paralegal through an internship program at Penegor Law where she learned all facets of the legal process. From there she spent 6 years at Daniel G. Lauer & Associates concentrating her career in real estate law, including; purchase and sale of multi-unit buildings, commercial land sales, zoning changes; commercial and residential leasing, creation of condominium associations, corporations, limited liability companies, and much more. Some of these important duties required personal working relationships with clients, cooperating attorneys, city council and district alderman.

Most recently Ms. Jorudd spent 4 years at the Law Office of Christine Garner, a law firm that specialized in handling high volumes of distressed residential properties as a result of the housing market crash. Her primary duties required her to negotiate short sale terms between the financial institutions and Seller/Buyer, understand and apply rapidly changing legislation, and oversight of entire closing process for purposes of quality control.
